what will you get for Xmas?

Hmmm, not to sure about that!

Saturday December 19th is our final Makers Market for 2009.
What a year it's been. We've done lots of work, and changed the name to make the market more identifiable. I think it has worked; we have a waiting list for stallholders, and there has been a huge increase in visitors to the Banyule Art Space.

We have over 30 stalls for Saturday. They include:
Katrina Lee - handbags and purses
Teresa Bennett - hand spun, hand knitted goodies
Julie Joyce - unique tea cosies, ironing board covers (36 sizes - who knew?)
Julie macmillan - most beautiful wedding accessories you ever saw
Cathy Sofarnos - baby quilts
Mieke Boynton - photography, cards
Kanella Tsirbas - silver jewellery
Stefaan Van Nunnen - artisan chocolates
Smiljan Kostic - wood turning, pyrography, handmade boxes
Shirley Barker - precious gem stone jewellery and toys for Kelti Indian charity
Lene Kuhl-Jacobsen - ceramics
Margaret Edwards - swarkovski crystal jewellery
Senia Kazar - ceramics
Michelle Garibaldi - fudge and turkish delight (yummo)
Christina Stewart - soy candles (the christmas blend is particularly nice)

On Friday December 11th from 5.00pm - 8.00pm, we will be holding our second annual Twilight Christmas Market.

Over 30 amazingly talented local artists will be showing off their creations. There is something for absolutely everyone on your list!
Because it is Friday night after all, Paul and his lovely crew from Cafe Ivanhoe are staying open late, with a special Makers Market menu option. So come along - you get unique one-off presents AND yummy food at the Twilight Makers Market.

The Twilight Makers Market is at Banyule Art Space, 14 Ivanhoe Parade, Ivanhoe.

Ivanoe Makers Makers Unplugged!

Thanks to everyone who came to the last Market. The weather held out, and over 25 stallholders displayed their goodies in the courtyard of Ivanhoe Library. Being in Upper Heidelberg Road was a great promotion for our Christmas Makers Markets.
